Thomas Neubauer joins the family of Ferrari Official Drivers

01 February 2024

We are delighted to announce that Thomas Neubauer has been announced as a Ferrari Official Driver from the 2024 season, after having made Charles Pozzi shine in Ferrari Challenge.

The 24-year-old Frenchman, previously star of the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli and winner of an edition of the Ferrari Finali Mondiali in 2022, has embarked on a new sporting adventure by becoming a factory driver for the Prancing Horse.

The history of the Neubauer family and the automobile goes back several generations.

In 2010, the Neubauer Group acquired Charles Pozzi SA in Levallois-Perret, continuing the brand's history and renown. To get as close as possible to motor racing, in 2016 Charles Pozzi opened a new Official After-Sales Service in the Technoparc located in the heart of the legendary Le Mans 24H racetrack. Today, the Charles Pozzi Group aims to keep the soul of motor racing alive.

So it was only natural that Thomas Neubauer should get involved in motorsports. After initial experience in karting and Formula Renault single-seaters, Thomas Neubauer made his debut in the Maranello-based manufacturer's one-design series championship in 2019 and, in parallel, began his GT career with both Ferrari and other marques, focusing in particular on endurance racing from 2021.

In the Ferrari Challenge Europe, the Frenchman took part in 34 races over five seasons, becoming world champion at the Finali Mondiali of 2022 in the main Trofeo Pirelli class with the Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo.

Over the past five years, Thomas Neubauer has been crowned GT World Challenge Europe champion in the Silver class, winning two titles, one in the Sprint Cup (2019) and the other in the Endurance Cup (2022). Last season, the driver's record in the GT WC Europe series included three victories at Imola, the Spa-Francorchamps 24 Hours and Barcelona.

Thomas Neubauer also finished on the top step of the podium at the 24 Hours of Dubai and the 24 Hours of Nürburgring in the SP10 class. The French driver has twice taken part in the Le Mans 24 Hours (2021 and 2023) in LMGTE Am, each time at the wheel of a Ferrari 488 GTE.
