Charles Pozzi had an intense
weekend at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, thanks to a multitude of events and an
abundance of emotions. This was mainly due to Thomas Neubauer's participation
in 2 races, taking place just a few hours apart : The Ferrari Challenge Trofeo
Pirelli Europe and the prestigious 24 Hours Centenary race.
Centenary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans :
During this emotional weekend, Thomas seized the opportunity to take part in
the 24-hour centenary race in the number 66 488 GTE EVO, alongside his 2
team-mates. When he took the wheel, the Ferrari was in 17th place, despite
unfavourable weather conditions. However, Thomas gradually worked his way up
the rankings until he reached first place, which he held until the end of his
stint.
Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli :
During the 24 Hours of Le Mans, 70 Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo cars gathered for
the fourth round of the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli Europe. The event saw
reigning class champion Thomas Neubauer take pole position on the Sarthe
circuit with an impressive time of 3'59"985, the only time of the race
under four minutes. A fine victory for Charles Pozzi GT Racing.
