The AF Corse stable
has officially presented the new livery of the Ferrari 499P #83, of which
Charles Pozzi is an official partner, which will take part in the FIA World
Endurance Championship (WEC) as well as the legendary Le Mans 24 Hours 2025.
For its second season in the Hypercar category, the #83 will once again sport
the Giallo Modena hue that has made such an impact since its debut in 2024,
with the addition of a touch of red inspired by the winning models of previous
years.
Charles Pozzi's
commitment to AF Corse is part of a long tradition of passion and excellence in
motorsport. Since the 1970s, Charles Pozzi has marked the history of endurance
racing with iconic models such as the Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona and the 512 BB LM,
which brilliantly defended the group's colors at Le Mans. Today, this pride and
heritage continues with the Ferrari 499P #83, a symbol of performance and
innovation in the Hypercar category.
The FIA World
Endurance Championship (WEC) is one of motor sport's major competitions,
bringing together the most prestigious manufacturers and teams for long-term
events. Each season consists of several races on legendary circuits,
culminating in the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans. This discipline tests the
performance of Hypercar prototypes and the endurance of crews over distances
ranging from 6 to 24 hours, with a balance between strategy, reliability and
sheer speed.
The #83 Ferrari
499P will be entrusted to a trio of talented drivers: Robert Kubica, Phil
Hanson, and Yifei Ye. In its first season, this Hypercar made its mark by
winning the Lone Star Le Mans and taking victories at Imola and Austin in the
privately-entered FIA Hypercar Teams World Cup. It also shone at the 24 Hours
of Le Mans, leading the race for 83 laps, confirming its potential against the
factory teams.
The 2025 FIA WEC
season looks set to be a thrilling one, with competition in the Hypercar
category set to get even tougher. The Ferrari 499P #83, with its new livery and
assertive ambitions, will be out to assert itself against the championship's
leading teams, in a battle where every detail will count.
